Consent applies to the venue itself, not only to what happens within it. Agreeing to meet somewhere is not agreement to remain there, nor is it agreement to move to a second location. Relocation mid-meeting is a distinct decision and can reasonably be declined. People sometimes feel that having travelled to a place obligates them to see the evening through; that sense of obligation is worth recognising as a feeling rather than a fact.
