Consent applies to the arrangement itself. Agreeing to stay somewhere is agreement about accommodation and nothing further. Anything else remains open to ongoing discussion, and either person may revise their comfort at any point, including after arrival. The option to move to separate lodging mid-visit is worth preserving in practice, not only in principle.
