Translations:Managing Last-Minute Changes/12/en

Pressure is a particular risk point. A change introduced very close to the meeting can leave someone feeling that declining would be rude or that they have already committed too much to withdraw. That sense of obligation is worth recognising, because it can override otherwise sound judgement. Withdrawing at any stage remains an available option, and the discomfort of doing so is generally smaller than the discomfort of continuing against one's own assessment.
