Accessibility is frequently assumed to concern only wheelchair users. In practice it is associated with a much broader set of circumstances, including chronic pain, fatigue conditions, low vision or hearing, mobility that varies from day to day, sensory sensitivity, cognitive load, and temporary situations such as injury or recovery. Many of these are not visible to a host or a guest at first contact.
