Endings are the third element and are commonly the least planned. A meeting that has gone well can still end awkwardly if one person needs to leave suddenly and has not signalled it. Time management, understood in this broader sense, is less about punctuality than about keeping expectations aligned from beginning to end.

| Social=Time carries meaning that goes beyond logistics. People often interpret timing as evidence of interest. Someone who arrives promptly and stays as long as they said they would may be read as reliable. Someone who is consistently late, vague about availability, or abruptly unavailable may be read as uninterested, regardless of what they actually feel.
