| Social=Supplies communicate. What is visible in a space is often read as a statement about what is expected there, whether or not that reading was intended. A host who leaves certain items in plain view may simply be practical; a guest may interpret it as an expectation. Conversely, items kept entirely out of sight can create an impression of hesitancy or awkwardness that was never meant.
