Translations:Accommodation Options/6/en

A common misunderstanding is that accepting or declining a host's offer signals the level of interest in the connection. Community experience suggests this reading is unreliable. People decline hospitality for reasons that have little to do with the other person: sleep habits, allergies, the need for solitude, financial independence, or a general practice of keeping first meetings low-commitment. Similarly, accepting an offer does not by itself indicate agreement about anything beyond a place to sleep.
