Consent and autonomy run in both directions. Guests are entitled to decline without explanation, and hosts are entitled to shape their own gatherings without justifying every choice. Neither party owes the other access. Where a host senses that someone's presence would create genuine discomfort or risk for others, choosing not to invite them is a legitimate exercise of responsibility rather than an act of exclusion for its own sake.
