Finally, accurate information is itself a safety matter. Overstating a space's accessibility to avoid disappointment can leave someone stranded at an entrance they cannot use, sometimes far from home and without an alternative. Understating is less harmful than overstating.
| Reality=Reality Check: accessibility is often framed as a matter of goodwill, and goodwill alone does not produce access. A host who is genuinely welcoming may still live in a building that no one can enter without assistance. Recognising this is not a moral failure; misrepresenting it is where harm tends to occur.
